Rare vintage 1950s full circle skirt made of dyed finely woven Abaca (banana fiber) fabric with embroidery and tiny shell beading. Fully lined; hidden side metal zipper and hook closure. This unusual fabric is soft and light yet stiff so it hold shape very well - kind of like silk and jute had a baby.
