Vintage 1940s Chinese silk brocade evening jacket in champagne gold with aqua 5 bats motif which symbolizes the 5 Blessings of Good Fortune. Strong shoulder design with wide bell sleeves, swingy waist length shape , decorative trapunto top stitching and two small pockets on the front sides. Knotted frog closures down the front. Fully lined in more champagne silk.

Very good pre-owned condition - this piece is strong and wearable but does have some age related issues including some fraying along the inside neckline lining (does not show when worn, a water mark on the back (it appears more as a tonal shadow) and a few scattered small light rust colored spots. Still presents beautifully when worn!
